Master Builders NT Women in Construction Site Visit a Huge Success at Colemans

Jul 28, 2026

Monday’s Master Builders NT Women in Construction site visit to Colemans Creative + Printing + Signage was a resounding success, with members filling the facility for a morning of behind-the-scenes access, hands-on demonstrations and genuine conversation.

A Morning of Curiosity and Conversation

From the moment the tour began, it was clear members had come with real interest in how the business operates. Questions came thick and fast — on production capability, digital versus offset printing, signage fabrication, sustainability practices and how Colemans manages large-scale projects for government, corporate and community clients across the Territory. The level of engagement made for a morning that ran well past a typical site visit.

Old Friends and New Faces

The visit brought together a mix of familiar faces and new connections. Long-standing contacts and clients caught up with the Colemans team, while others were meeting the business — and each other — for the first time. It was a genuine opportunity for women across construction, manufacturing and the creative industries to build relationships that extend well beyond the morning itself.

Hands-On Demonstrations

Members were taken through live demonstrations across the production floor, design studio and signage workshop, seeing firsthand how a job moves from concept to finished product. For many, it was the first time seeing the scale and precision behind large format and commercial print production up close.

Hosted by the Colemans Team

The visit was hosted by Magdaline Coleman (CEO), Michelle Honeybun (Head of Creative) and Amberley Vegter (Projects & Print Solutions Specialist), who guided members through the facility and answered questions throughout the morning.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. The questions, the energy in the room, and the number of new connections made — it reminded me exactly why we wanted to open our doors. Women in construction, manufacturing and the creative industries have so much to offer each other, and mornings like this make that easy,” said Ms Coleman.

Thank You, Master Builders NT

Colemans would like to thank Master Builders NT and everyone who attended Monday’s site visit. Opportunities like this reflect the kind of connection and collaboration that keeps the Territory’s construction, manufacturing and creative industries strong — and Colemans looks forward to hosting more of them.
